Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
After a day on Madison Avenue, I’ll probably be hearing bagpipes in my dreams.
The best way to celebrate the patron saint of Eire, and the birth of this blog, is by having a pint of Guinness.
The second best way is to check out the new Snow Patrol song/video, “You’re All I Have.” I haven’t heard any other tracks from the upcoming CD but Gary’s lyrics and vocals never disappoint.
The lads from Dundee, Scotland, by way of Northern Ireland, will be playing a packed house at the Bowery Ballroom on March 28. See you there!
Glen Hansard, singer/songerwriter for Dublin’s The Frames, will be wrapping up St. Patrick’s Day weekend in New York City with two sold-out shows at Pianos on Sunday night.
I haven’t seen The Frames since last November, when the band played QMU at the University of Glasgow. I have been a giddy school girl ever since I purchased my tickets for Glen’s solo show. Stay tuned for my adventures!
